KC Hempfest 2011 will be on September 17 at Hodge Park Amphitheater. Dan Viets, Director of Missouri NORML and Chairman of the Show-Me Cannabis campaign, will be speaking about Missouri's statewide ballot initiative. Brian Leininger, of Law Enforment Against Prohibition will also be a featured speaker.

Our music line-up will be sure to entertain you. This year's line-up includes: Serated, David Hasslehoff on Acid, the Phantasics, MindzEye, KanEyed, In the Shadow, and Lando Kloud. In between sets, we will have our local 420 comedians, Marytr McIrvin and Travis Wright.

There will be petitions to sign for those registered to vote in Missouri. There will also be a variety of hemp goods on display. Bring your lawn chairs/blankets, coolers, hoops, frisbees, and whatever you will need to stay comfortable at the park. We will have a full day and you don't want to miss a minute of it! Please remember that this is a family-friendly event. Be mindful of your fellow humans and clean up after yourself.
